Trained psychologists and social workers from the Social Support Unit unite their skills and knowledge to assist our patients throughout the selected treatment course. A combined approach of medication and psychosocial counselling is essential to the success of addiction treatment programmes as it helps to ensure the patients’ emotional balance, maintain and foster their motivation and learn to overcome social difficulties. The Unit offers social and psychological counselling with phone consultations available (+370 5 216 00 14), organises therapeutic groups for social skill development, applies case management for patients on mandatory treatment and on medication-assisted treatment of opioid addiction.
Services are free of charge and available to everyone with no personal identification document required.
We would like to kindly ask you to bring your medical records in English, Russian or Lithuanian when seeking medical care in our Centre. Consultations are available in Lithuanian and Russian, consultations in English require making an appointment. In case you do not speak any of these languages, we would advise you to find someone who will be able to help as an interpreter.
